About this car
The 911 S/T represents Porsche's most considered interpretation of the purist 911 formula — a car built to celebrate the model's 60th anniversary by transplanting the GT3 RS's high-revving 4.0-litre flat-six into a body stripped of aerodynamic theatre and paired with a six-speed manual gearbox. Limited to exactly 1,963 units globally, each carries its production number as a nod to the year the 911 was introduced. This example is finished in Black with the Heritage Design Package — a £14,238 option that brings the Black/Classic Cognac interior and 60 Years 911 commemorative detailing, specified here without the motorsport graphic for a deliberately understated appearance.
At 910 miles from new, this S/T is essentially unworn. The specification is well-considered: the Front Axle Lift System (£2,546) is a practical addition given the car's reduced ride height, while carbon fibre bucket seats, PCCB ceramic brakes, and forged magnesium 20/21-inch wheels come as standard on the S/T. Options extend to LED Matrix headlights with PDLS+, a BOSE surround sound system, and a full-vehicle paint protection film application. The extended Porsche manufacturer's warranty runs to April 2028, and the car is UK-supplied.
With 518 bhp, a 3.7-second 0-62 time, and a 186 mph top speed, the figures alone don't capture the S/T's appeal. It's the combination — a naturally aspirated GT-spec engine spinning to 9,000 rpm, a six-speed manual with shorter gearing and a 10mm shorter throw than the GT3, rear axle steering deleted in favour of weight saving, and a lightweight lithium battery — that makes this the lightest 992 and the most driver-focused road-going 911 Porsche has produced in the current generation.
