Porsche 911 RUF RCT

This RUF RCT began as a right-hand drive 1993 Porsche 964 Carrera 2 coupe, delivered new to Cheswick Garage in July 1993 in Midnight Blue Pearl with grey leather, air conditioning and an electric sunroof. It was then sent to RUF to be converted. The RCT conversion brought a single-turbo engine rated at 370 bhp, a RUF six-speed gearbox, RUF brakes, Speedline wheels, tuned suspension, exhaust and an aero package. The car was originally fitted with RUF's electronic clutch system, since changed to a conventional manual clutch.

It was RUF Automobile GB's first UK show car. It appeared at the 1994 Porsche Meet at Donington with Alois Ruf present, and 911 & Porsche World featured it in its September/October 1994 issue. It has since been in long-term ownership as part of a Porsche collection.

The car shows 60,000 miles. The engine was rebuilt by GT One Ltd in 2000 at about 51,000 miles, so roughly 9,000 miles have been covered since. The history file includes invoices and records, 16 MoT certificates back to June 1996, a stamped maintenance booklet, the owner's manual, spare tyre, jack, tool kit and the original Porsche AG order specification. The front carries an anti-stone-chip wrap and the car has new Michelin Pilot Sport tyres.
