Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2

The Carrera 3.2 was the last of the G-Series 911s and the final car in the line to trace itself most directly back to the 1963 original. Its 3.2-litre flat-six brought Bosch Motronic engine management and the Turbo's crankshaft, and made this the first normally aspirated 911 to pass 150mph. This early car keeps the Type 915 gearbox rather than the Getrag G50 that arrived for 1987.

This right-hand-drive example is finished in Meteor Metallic with burgundy leather, a welcome change from the Guards Red common on UK cars of the period. It is a Sport model, with front and rear spoilers, lowered Bilstein suspension and 16-inch Fuchs wheels in 7 and 8-inch widths. It has covered 28,000 miles and has had one owner, who part-exchanged a 1983 911 SC for it.

It was supplied new in July 1986 by Waldron Porsche of Maidstone, and the original bill of sale is included. Servicing has been carried out by Official Porsche Centres and independent specialist Autostrasse, with no major restoration or respray work recorded. The original Blaupunkt Toronto radio cassette is still fitted. After a period in storage the car has been recommissioned by the selling dealer.
