Porsche 911 Carrera 2 Restomod

This 964 began as a Japanese-market 1990 Carrera 2 coupe, finished in Satin Black and fitted with Tiptronic. It was rebuilt in 2023/24 by Neil Bainbridge at BS Motorsport as a long-term owner commission. The result is a restomod planned as a single car, not a set of separate upgrades.

The original 3.6-litre flat-six now displaces 3.8 litres, using Mahle components, Cup camshafts, AT Power throttle bodies and a MoTeC M130 ECU. Output is stated at about 380 bhp. A five-speed manual with a limited-slip differential and an RS clutch and flywheel replace the Tiptronic. TracTive semi-active suspension with five presets, Brembo brakes (993 RS at the front) and electric power steering complete the chassis work. A half cage is fitted and the sunroof has been deleted.

The shell was taken back to bare metal and repainted in Oak Green Metallic by Sportwagen in Germany. Inside is a custom tartan trim by Nicholas Mee, with an Alcantara headlining and a MOMO steering wheel. The car shows 36,062 miles, about 6,000 of them since the restoration. It has had two previous owners according to the page, and comes with a detailed restoration and upgrade file.
