Porsche 911 3.2 Carrera Targa Commemorative Edition

This is one of the Commemorative, or Jubilee, editions Porsche built to mark 250,000 examples of the 911 in 25 years. Only 10 Targas in this specification were supplied to the UK, which makes it a rare late example of the G-series 3.2 Carrera.

It has the later Getrag G50 five-speed gearbox with a short-shift linkage and hydraulic clutch, behind the air-cooled 3.2-litre flat-six rated at 231 bhp. The car is finished in Diamond Blue Metallic over silver-blue leather, with Ferry Porsche's signature stitched into the headrests, colour-coded 16-inch Fuchs alloys, headlamp wash and a Blaupunkt SQR 46 radio.

It shows 7,950 miles. It was supplied new by Charles Follett Porsche in Mayfair in July 1988 and comes with its original paperwork file, historic MoTs, spare keys and the factory paint touch-up stick. It has been freshly serviced and recommissioned, and a 12-month warranty is included.
