This is a 1973 Porsche 911E that has been upgraded to Carrera 2.7 RS specification, rather than a factory-built RS. It is finished in Grand Prix White with a black and white houndstooth interior, and is left-hand drive.
The specification includes a 2.7-litre RS engine with Bosch mechanical fuel injection, rated at 210 bhp. It also has a 915 five-speed gearbox with a Porsche limited-slip differential, Bilstein dampers and 7 and 8-inch Fuchs alloy wheels.
The car was first registered in France in July 1973 and has a Swiss competition passport showing entries at Hockenheim, Interlaken and Varano in 2000 and 2003. It came to the UK in 2008 with a period-correct L plate. Ivan Dutton raced it and obtained full HTP FIA papers in class GTS22. The current owner has had it since June 2011, and recent work was carried out by Autofarm and then IN Racing. A history file includes a current V5 and numerous invoices.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Porsche factory data for the 1973 Carrera RS 2.7 (210 PS DIN, 2687cc). Weight and top speed left blank because the Sport and Touring versions had different figures; only 0-100 km/h was published.).
Dealer in historic and modern classic cars that also buys cars outright, sells on consignment and offers vehicle storage near Junction 6 of the M40.
