This is a 1973 Carrera 2.7 RS recreation built by air-cooled specialist Historika, using a condition-inspected 1981 911 SC chassis identity. It was created from a right-hand drive shell and carries correct 1973-style front wings, slam panel, steel bonnet, lightweight bumpers and a ducktail spoiler. The cabin is finished to lightweight spec, though electric windows and a sunroof remain.
Most of the mechanicals come from the later 3.2 Carrera. The engine has been rebuilt with 964 cams, Jenvey throttle bodies and an early-style exhaust, and is quoted at 250 bhp, roughly 40 bhp more than an original Touring RS. It is paired with a rebuilt 915 gearbox with an extra oil cooler, Bilstein dampers to Historika's fast-road specification and genuine 7 x 15 and 8 x 15 Fuchs alloys.
The previous owner bought the car in 2018 and had Desa Recaro-style seats trimmed in black leather with dark red corduroy, new leather door cards and straps, re-anodised window frames, a 2.7 engine lid badge and period-correct Pirelli Cinturato tyres fitted. It has covered 7,746 miles.
