Porsche 911 2.2 S

The 2.2-litre 911 S is one of the most sought-after early cars. It has a 180 bhp air-cooled flat-six with a revised camshaft, larger valves, higher compression and bigger jets. Chassis upgrades over lesser 911s include a rear anti-roll bar, Koni dampers and ventilated disc brakes. The page says this was one of 1,734 produced in 1970.

This left-hand-drive coupe is finished in Silver Metallic with a black leather interior. It has the five-speed dog-leg manual gearbox and sits on 15-inch Fuchs-pattern alloys. It was fully restored at some point between 2013 and 2017, then imported from Belgium and registered in the UK in 2021. The October 2021 MOT recorded 62,833 miles.

Invoices from Rindt Vehicle Design cover work in 2022. In March it received an alternator upgrade, an electrical check, new seatbelts and a replacement battery, plus a Porsche PCM head unit, at a cost of over £5,000. In September it had points, plugs and timing work, a new CDI unit, a gearbox linkage rebuild and a fire extinguisher. The car now shows 64,035 miles and has a tracker, both keys and the V5.
