A 1957 Porsche 356 A Speedster by Reutter, left-hand drive and finished in Signal Red (R601) with black Speedster seats and red trim. The Speedster is the most sought-after of the T1 356 body styles, and this one has been inspected in depth by the dealer's in-house 356 specialist.
Factory Kardex records show chassis 83032 was completed on 22 March 1957 and delivered through Porsche dealer Krauss of Nürnberg to a US serviceman stationed in Germany. It was first registered in Germany in May 1957 and in the UK in September 2014. The Kardex records a like-for-like factory engine replacement in May 1958 with a period-correct Type 616/1 unit.
That engine was rebuilt in the UK in 2017 and enlarged to 1,720cc. The transmission number and original colour combination match the Kardex. The odometer reads 29,961 miles, and the four-speed manual gearbox is original to the car's specification.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Porsche factory figures for the standard 1600 (Type 616/1, 60 PS DIN, 160 km/h). The 1600 Super and Carrera engines differ. Weight and 0-60 left null because I'm not sure of the published figures.).
