The Pegaso Z-102 was Spain's attempt at a world-beating GT, drawn up by Wifredo Ricart, the engineer who previously worked at Alfa Romeo. This 1955 Z-102B carries aluminium coachwork by Saoutchik of France, one of roughly 18 cars bodied by the house. It is believed to be one of five surviving left-hand-drive Saoutchik Series II berlinettas.
It was the 1954 Paris Salon show car and was bought there by Jean-Claude Lamy, who rallied it in 1954 and 1955. It later went to the USA, passing through Bill Harrah's museum in Reno and then the Imperial Palace collection in Las Vegas.
After the Imperial Palace museum closed in 2017, a private collector had the car restored to Pebble Beach standards. It was repainted in a red and grey two-tone scheme inspired by the BS2 Especial, and it returned to Paris for Rétromobile in 2019. The chassis number is 0102-150 0148 and the engine number is 0102-017 0148. No mileage is stated.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Only the ENASA Z-102B 2.8 engine specs (2816cc DOHC V8, front-mounted, RWD) are given. ENASA quoted power differently for each tune, and this coachbuilt Saoutchik body has no confirmed factory figures, so performance, weight and aspiration are null.).
