This Pegaso Z-102 is one of roughly 18 cars bodied in aluminium by the French coachbuilder Saoutchik. Designed under Wifredo Ricart, the former Alfa Romeo engineer, the Spanish-built GT is believed to be one of only five surviving left-hand-drive Saoutchik-bodied Series II Berlinettas.
It was the show car at the 1954 Paris Salon, where Parisian Jean-Claude Lamy bought it and went on to rally it, including the Rallye Pan Armoricaine and the following year's Rallye Sablé-Solesmes. It later moved to the USA, passing to Bill Harrah's Reno collection in 1964 and then to the Imperial Palace Auto Collection in Las Vegas.
After the museum closed in 2017 it was sold to a private collector and restored to Pebble Beach standards, with a two-tone paint scheme inspired by the Series BS2 Especial. It appeared at Rétromobile in Paris in 2019 and is now offered through Cars International Heritage. The page gives no mileage.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Only the general layout of the ENASA Z-102 is given (Barcelona-built, front-mounted all-alloy V8, rear-wheel drive). Saoutchik bodies were one-offs or very small runs. Engine size, supercharging and output differed from car to car, and no factory figures for this variant could be confirmed.).
