About this car
This is a first-generation Nissan Skyline "Hakosuka" in KGC10 GT-X form, dressed in the style of the celebrated GT-R. The dealer says it is a 1972 car, despite a 1980 date in the listing title. It is not an original GT-R, and the page says so openly.
Under the bonnet is an L28 engine swap in place of the original L20, fed by a Solex carburettor. The Millennium Jade paint (JW0) is a modern colour on a classic shape. New front and rear glass with seals and new door weatherstrips have been fitted.
The suspension is aftermarket. Star Road coilovers have been ordered but are not yet fitted. The car is now in the UK and registered. The dealer will take £69,999 for it as it stands, without the coilovers and with some minor paintwork still to be completed. No mileage or service history is given.
