Morgan Plus 4 Plus

The Plus 4 Plus was Morgan's attempt at a modern coupé: a strengthened Plus 4 chassis and Triumph four-cylinder engine under a glass fibre body with wind-up windows. Only 26 were built, which makes it one of the rarest cars to come out of Malvern.

This example has had two long-term keepers, each for almost thirty years. The most recent was a Morgan enthusiast who owned it from 1998 and logged every trip in a book kept in the glovebox. A full respray in the original Smoke Grey was carried out in 2013, along with new carpets, rechroming and an engine overhaul. Inside are black leather sports seats, and outside there are wire wheels and a luggage rack.

The odometer reads 2,030 miles, though the page says it is known to have gone round the clock. The history file holds invoices, mostly from Morgan specialist Teqniques, plus the original brochure, workshop manual and parts book. It also includes the June 2014 issue of MOG Magazine, which featured the car on its cover.
