The Merlyn Mk14 is a late-1960s Formula 3 single-seater, and this 1968 car has a period racing record. It was campaigned extensively by Tony Lanfranchi, including at Monaco.
It is offered race-ready, prepared by Ed Wood. Recent work includes a new harness, fire extinguisher and Varley battery, plus a foam-filled fuel tank. The engine was rebuilt by Andrew Tart with a new crankshaft, conrods, camshaft, water pump and sump.
It has done one race on Hoosier tyres and comes with a second set of wheels fitted with little-used Avons, along with spare gear sets. A fresh HSCC vehicle identity form was issued in 2024, and the history and invoices are in a substantial file.
