The 250 SL was the rarest of the Pagoda-era W113 range, built for only 11 months from 1967. This right-hand-drive, UK-registered car dates from September 1967 and has the ZF five-speed manual gearbox, an option fitted to just 112 W113s worldwide. Only around 35 right-hand-drive cars are thought to have been specified that way, and specialists believe fewer than five survive in the UK.
It is finished in Grey Blue Metallic (906) over parchment leather, with the transverse rear jump seat and a new navy blue soft top. A six-stage restoration is described, including over 211 hours of structural work: a replacement bulkhead crossmember, floor pan and chassis rail repairs, and fresh underseal. The brakes, shock absorbers, fuel lines, bushes and power steering were also overhauled.
Inside are new seats, door cards and carpets, plus a Krämer Automotive classic infotainment system with USB ports. The car was serviced in 2025 and has covered about 800 miles since completion. The odometer reads 41,487 miles.
