The 320 sat below Mercedes-Benz's big supercharged eight-cylinder cars in the late 1930s, but it was still a well-appointed, quick tourer. This Cabriolet A is one of 885 built, and is the W142 version with the larger 3.4-litre overhead-valve six and the four-speed manual gearbox with overdrive. It is badged as a Mannheim-built car.
The car was found in a dilapidated state in the Czech Republic about 30 years ago and bought by its current owner for restoration. A full nut-and-bolt restoration was finished earlier this year, and the dealer reports just 1,002 km covered since.
It is finished in black and primrose yellow with a black canvas hood, cream leather and burr walnut trim. Details include Bosch headlamps, milk glass parking lights, a driver's side spotlight, chrome wire wheels and a single rear jump seat. The listing shows the price as accepted and the registration as to be advised.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Daimler-Benz period data as reported in Mercedes-Benz heritage records (1938-on 3.4-litre W142: 78 PS). Weight and top speed depend on the body and were not confirmed for the Cabriolet A, so they are left blank.).
£460,000 since it was listed on 6 November 2026. No changes yet.
