The W113 280SL, known as the Pagoda for its dipped roofline, is among the most usable of the classic Mercedes-Benz sports cars. This 1968 left-hand-drive example was supplied new in the United States and stayed with its first owner, Mr David Kennedy, for around thirty-six years before being imported to the UK in 2005.\n\nAfter arriving in Britain it received a nut-and-bolt restoration by Pagoda specialist Silchester Garage. It is finished in Black with a Cream leather interior, and has covered just 626 miles since the work was completed.\n\nThe car retains its original hardtop, soft top, jack and spare wheel, along with a reproduction owner's manual. A history file includes photographs documenting the restoration.
