The W21 was Mercedes-Benz's six-cylinder mid-range car of the mid-1930s, built from 1933 to 1936 as successor to the W02. Only 6,341 were made across all body styles, which makes a surviving Cabriolet a rare sight today. This one is a 1935 car on the long wheelbase chassis that arrived in 1934, powered by the 2,089 cc straight-six, which the dealer puts at around 40 horsepower.
It was first registered in Switzerland and still carries its Swiss papers, with EU taxes paid. More recently it sat in a London collector's private group of classic Mercedes-Benz models. During that time it was restored from a solid, well-preserved base, with new paintwork in a period-correct colour, a fully re-trimmed interior and a mechanical overhaul where needed.
It is left-hand drive. No mileage, registration number or owner count is given in the listing.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Daimler-Benz historical data (Mercedes-Benz Classic): 2229 cc side-valve straight-six, 55 PS. Mercedes lists the 230 W21 from 1936, so check that a '1935' car isn't a 200 W21. Weight and top speed vary by body style and aren't confirmed, so they are left out.).
