Listed today at SuperVettura, Sunningdale. Last checked today.
This is the first of just seven Exige Cup 430 Type 49s, and the only one built in right-hand drive. The special edition recalls the Lotus 49, the car Graham Hill drove to the 1968 Drivers' and Constructors' titles, and wears red with Mars Gold stripes in reference to that livery.
The spec is track-minded: carbon fibre front splitter, clamshell, roof, tailgate, rear wing, diffuser and race seats, with silver mirrors and wing uprights and black Alcantara and leather trim with red and gold stitching. Power comes from the 3.5-litre supercharged V6 with 430 bhp. It was supplied by Lotus Cars Ltd as the official PR car and shown at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
It was first registered in August 2018 and has covered 8,500 miles with three owners. Five annual services are recorded at Bell and Colvill Lotus, the latest in November 2023 at 8,388 miles. The price is on application.
