This 1987 Esprit Turbo HC is one of the last Giugiaro-shaped cars, built before the Peter Stevens restyle of the "new shape" Esprit. The dealer says only 135 HC Turbos were made, which puts it among the rarer Esprits of the period.
It has covered 60,500 miles, about 1,600 a year. It is finished in Calypso Red with a half black leather interior. Both seats have been re-foamed, and the headlining was renewed in 2024 in the original doeskin brushed nylon. The car has a factory glass Targa sunroof and air conditioning.
A full "C" service was carried out in May 2024. It included a new water pump, cam-belt and ancillary belts, plus a new fuel filter, clutch master and secondary cylinders, and a renewed brake master cylinder. The original owner's handbook is present, and the last owner kept the car for 21 years.
