The Elan +2S 130 was the final and most developed version of Lotus's larger, two-plus-two Elan, a more grown-up take on the lightweight original. This 1972 car is finished in Lotus yellow with black upholstery and shows 49,900 miles.
It was restored some years ago, with a galvanised replacement chassis, solid driveshafts and a rebuilt engine, which addresses the usual weak points on these cars. The dealer reports that it drives well.
The paintwork is the one caveat: it has fine micro blistering consistent with its age. Otherwise it is presented as a usable, relatively affordable route into classic Lotus ownership.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Lotus factory figure for the Big Valve Twin Cam (126 bhp, 1558cc). Weight, top speed and 0-60 left null because the period numbers that survive are mainly road-test figures, not confirmed factory data.).
