Lotus Elan SE Turbo

The M100 Elan was Lotus's front-wheel-drive departure from tradition, built around a zinc-plated steel backbone chassis and powered by a turbocharged 1.6-litre Isuzu engine. The SE Turbo is the version most enthusiasts look for, and this 1991 car is finished in Pacific Blue metallic with leather seats and cloth inserts.

The dealer says it has averaged about 3,600 miles a year, though no total mileage is given on the page. The cam-belt and tensioner were replaced about 3,000 miles ago, along with the water pump, alternator and oil cooler. It also has a recent exhaust and rear shock absorbers, and new tyres all round on 205/15 alloy wheels.

It is described as fully serviced and with a current MOT. Power steering and dual-circuit servo brakes with vented front discs are fitted.
