Lancia Delta HF Integrale 16V Group A

This is a works Lancia Martini Racing Delta HF Integrale 16V Group A, chassis 539663, built to heavy-gravel specification for the 1991 World Rally Championship. It made two WRC starts: third overall on the Acropolis Rally with Miki Biasion, and fifth on Rally Argentina with Jorge Recalde. The Acropolis car ran an experimental electronic centre differential.

After Argentina the car went back to Turin and stayed in factory custody until February 1994, when Fiat sold it, restored by Abarth, to the Greek collector Aigli Apostolou. It was never rallied by a private owner. It received Lancia Classiche certification in 2016, joined its current UK collection in 2018, and has since been shown only twice, at the Eifel Rallye Festival and Rally Revival.

The car is now road registered in the UK and described as freshly serviced and in full running order. It comes with a large history file, including original Fiat correspondence with its first private owner, plus its period-dated carbon Kevlar racing seats and seatbelts.
