The Espada was Lamborghini's four-seat V12 grand tourer, and the Series III of 1972 to 1978 was the most developed version, with a reworked interior and standard power steering. This is a right-hand-drive car, a small minority of the roughly 456 Series III cars built, and it has a five-speed manual gearbox and Weber-carburetted 3.9-litre V12.
The current owner bought it in 2015 and has since had it repainted to bare metal in its original orange. The chrome and brightwork have been refinished and the rubbers and seals replaced. The interior remains largely original, with worn-in dark tan leather, original carpets and original headlining.
The steering, suspension and brakes have been overhauled over the years, with invoices to support the work. It shows 50,330 miles. The price is on application.
