The XJ-S 4.0 Convertible is the later, more refined form of Jaguar's long-running grand tourer. By 1995 it had a full convertible body, the 4.0-litre straight-six and the galvanised steel body parts introduced after 1991, which makes these cars more sought after than earlier examples. This one is a Celebration Edition, finished in Signal Red over beige hide with a black electric hood.
It has covered about 39,100 miles. Specification includes air conditioning, electrically adjustable sports seats with memory and lumbar support, cruise control, headlamp wash, front fog lights, sports suspension and a burr walnut and leather sports steering wheel.
The car was supplied new by Guy Salmon Jaguar in April 1995 and keeps its original leather book pack, a history file with service invoices and a spare key. The dealer says it retains its original colour scheme and sells it with a 12-month warranty.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Jaguar's published AJ16 4.0 engine specs (241 bhp). Weight and performance left blank because I'm not confident of the official 1995 Celebration figures.).
