This 1970 Jaguar E-Type is a Series II 4.2 fixed head coupe, finished in Gunmetal with a red leather interior. The Series II brought the 4.2-litre straight-six and triple SU carburettors that many enthusiasts still consider the sweet spot of the E-Type range.
It was originally built as a left-hand-drive car. The dealer restored it in 2017 and converted it to full UK specification. It is described as a matching-numbers car. A previous owner fitted a 3.07 rear differential for more relaxed touring.
The page says the car has seen little use since the restoration and remains in very good order. It completed the trip to the most recent Classic Le Mans without trouble. No mileage, registration or ownership history is given.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Jaguar factory specification for UK triple-SU cars (265 bhp gross SAE, 4235 cc XK straight-six). Weight, top speed and 0-60 left null because the period figures usually come from road tests, not confirmed factory data.).
£69,950 since it was listed on 5 November 2026. No changes yet.
