The 1968 Mustang Fastback is the most sought-after body style of the first-generation car, and this left-hand-drive example has been reworked to drive far better than it did when new. Supplied new through Canal Motors of New Orleans, it was built at Dearborn in December 1967, and a Deluxe Marti Report confirms its build and original specification.
It left the factory in Highland Green with a 302 cubic-inch V8 and Cruise-O-Matic automatic. It now has a 347 cubic-inch (5.7-litre) stroker V8 with a Tremec T5 five-speed manual. The page cites around £15,000 spent on the suspension, plus rack-and-pinion steering, Wilwood brakes on all four corners and 17-inch wheels. The seat pans have been lowered for extra headroom.
The odometer reads 9,875 miles. The carburettor was stripped and rebuilt with new gaskets, seals and diaphragms, and the car comes with maintenance documentation alongside the Marti Report.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (The 1968 Fastback was sold with several engines, from the 200ci six to the 428 Cobra Jet V8, so power, weight, performance and engine figures are null without a specified engine.).
£149,950 since it was listed on 5 November 2026. No changes yet.
