This 1964 Galaxie 500 is a US-market import dressed with a nod to the Jack Sears-era competition Galaxies. The dealer is clear it is not a recreation of an original 427 Lightweight, but a road car that borrows the look and adds a good deal of modern usability.
Power comes from a rebuilt 390 FE V8 with a four-barrel carburettor, performance camshaft, Holley inlet manifold and MSD ignition, driving through a three-speed automatic. Underneath, it has electric power steering, Wilwood four-piston front brakes with a proportioning valve, an aluminium radiator with electric fan, an aluminium fuel tank and uprated exhaust and headers.
The car is finished in Corinthian White on 15-inch American Racing Torq Thrust wheels with new tyres. The interior has been fully retrimmed in red and white, with a Grant wood-rim wheel and a head unit with Bluetooth and Apple CarPlay. It was imported from the USA and UK registered in 2019, and the electrics have been professionally rewired.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Ford 1964 US specs: 390 cu in 4-barrel V8 rated 300 hp (SAE gross). Kerb weight varies by body style and Ford published no 0-60 or top speed, so those are null.).
£36,500 since it was listed on 5 November 2026. No changes yet.
