2011 Ferrari 599 SA Aperta

The Ferrari 599 SA Aperta occupies a singular position in the modern Ferrari catalogue: built in 2010 as a tribute to Sergio and Andrea Pininfarina, just 80 examples were produced worldwide, with this car being one of only 12 delivered in right-hand drive. The open-top bodywork — a Pininfarina-designed departure from the closed 599 GTB — sits above the same 6.0-litre naturally aspirated V12 as the 599 GTO, producing 661bhp through Ferrari's F1 single-clutch transmission. The combination of near-GTO performance and full open-air exposure makes it among the most visceral Ferraris of its generation.

This example shows just 1,800 miles from new and carries a deeply considered factory specification. Rosso Fuoco Triple-Layer Pearlescent is one of the more optically complex finishes available, and here it is offset by Argento Nurburgring Opaco across the roof pillars, headlight buckets, mirrors, and dashboard — a contrast palette that reads as deliberately composed rather than default. Inside, Nero leather with Rosso accents pairs with Nero Piano lacquer on the centre console, dash inserts, and interior handles, while Cavallino embroidery on the headrests and a carbon fibre LED steering wheel reinforce the car's status as a considered, individually specified piece. Carbon Ceramic brakes with Rosso Corsa calipers, fully electric carbon fibre sports seats, and 20-inch Darkened Chrome forged wheels complete the build.

A dedication plate on the dashboard — fitted to all SA Apertas as a mark of their individually commissioned standing — is present here. As a RHD car this is immediately practical for UK use without the compromises of a left-hand-drive alternative, and with mileage still in four figures after more than a decade, it has clearly been preserved with long-term collector intent rather than driven hard.
