The 512 BBi was the last of Ferrari's Berlinetta Boxers, introduced at the 1981 Frankfurt show. Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection replaced the Weber carburettors of the 512 BB, and the 4.9-litre dry-sump flat-12 became easier to live with as a result. Just over 1,000 were built before the Testarossa took over in 1984.
This left-hand-drive car was delivered new to Rome in November 1982. It was specified in Argento Metallizzato over Sabbia hide, and the dealer says both remain original. It shows 19,850 miles, which is low for a car of this age.
It has had a small number of owners and comes with a comprehensive service history from its time in Europe and more recently in the UK. It is an EU-supplied car.
