Ferrari 308 GTS

This 1978 Ferrari 308 GTS is a carburettor, dry-sump, left-hand-drive car with the five-speed manual gearbox. It is finished in Rosso Corsa with tan leather and matching tan carpets, and it has European-specification bumpers and indicators. The 14-inch magnesium wheels have been refurbished.

It was imported from the USA about ten years ago, and the paint is said to be free of rust after decades there. The odometer shows 31,396 miles, which averages out to well under 1,000 miles a year. The current keeper has owned it for five years.

The service record is detailed. Cam belt services were carried out in 2015 and 2018, and Shiltech Engineering did a larger job in late 2019 covering suspension bushes, a reconditioned steering rack, gaskets and fuel hoses. The Weber 40 DCNF carburettors were ultrasonically cleaned and serviced in 2020, and ignition leads, points and a battery were fitted soon after. The dealer holds invoices for the recent work.
