This is an early right-hand-drive 308 GTB, delivered through Maranello Concessionaires and first registered on 1 January 1978. That makes it one of the first steel-bodied 308 GTBs in the UK, after the initial fibreglass cars. It is also a carburettor, dry-sump car, the configuration many enthusiasts prefer for its sound and slightly higher output than the fuel-injected cars that followed in 1980.
The car is finished in Argento Auteuil Metallizzato over black VM8500 hide with red carpets, as specified from new. Early factory letters and delivery notes confirm the original specification, which included a deep front spoiler and air conditioning. It keeps its original 14-inch wheels and period-correct single-outlet exhaust.
It shows 33,952 miles. The dealer has looked after it since 2018 and supplied the last two owners. It is offered with an annual service and cambelts.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Ferrari official historic model data: European carburettor spec 255 CV, 2926.9 cc, 252 km/h. Weight left null because Ferrari quotes dry weight only. Ferrari published no 0-60 mph time.).
