Ferrari 308 GT4 Dino

This is an early Series 1 308 GT4, built when Ferrari still sold the car under Dino badging. Bertone's wedge was the company's first production V8 and first transverse-engined layout, and this right-hand-drive car is described as one of 547 UK-market examples.

The specification is unusual. It was delivered new by Maranello Concessionaires in November 1975 in a 'Boxer' two-tone finish of Bianco Polo Park and Satin Nero, which the dealer's research suggests fewer than five right-hand-drive cars had. Inside is Luxan Blue full leather, with air conditioning and electric windows. Apart from a single Cavalino badge fitted by the supplying dealer, the badges are Dino, and the exposed fog lights are an early-car feature.

After a period in dry storage, the car had extensive work in 2013. It was repainted in its original colours, the bumpers were re-chromed and all five wheels refurbished. New springs, shocks and bushes went on every corner. It was converted to unleaded with new fuel lines and pump, and received a new clutch, starter, stainless exhaust and manifolds. It shows 37,715 miles and has been maintained by the selling dealer since.
