Henri Chapron's Majesty was his answer for buyers who found the factory DS Prestige not exclusive enough. It was a coach-built DS with a taller, more angular roofline for extra rear headroom. Only 27 were made, and this car is one of the last three. Those three got the new-for-1969 nose with directional headlights.
This one is finished in Midnight Blue with Chapron's extra exterior trim, including chromed sill shields and polished aluminium wheel covers. Inside, the seats and door panels are in Havana beige Pullman-finish leather with brown woollen carpet. The lower dash is hand-painted in a faux burl wood finish, and the car has Jaeger circular gauges and air conditioning. The hydraulically actuated gearbox is selected by a lever on the dashboard.
The page says it was restored by Vincent Crescia, a well-known Citroën specialist. It is left-hand drive and seats five. No mileage, registration or ownership history is given.
