Chassis F1-2-64 was built at the end of 1964 and run by the Brabham works team in the 1965 Formula 1 season. Dan Gurney, Denny Hulme and Jack Brabham all drove it, and it took several podiums, including at Zandvoort, the Nürburgring, Monza, Watkins Glen and Mexico City.
At the end of 1965 it went to Aldo Scribante in South Africa and was fitted with a 2.7-litre Coventry Climax FPF engine. Brabham won the Rand Grand Prix in it, and Dave Charlton took over the drive in 1966. Over the next five years it won more major events and also ran with a Repco 620 V8. It returned to the UK in the 1990s, was raced by Richard Attwood for David Pennell and was rebuilt by Stuart Davey. José Albuquerque owned it before the current owner bought it in 2009. In the HGPCA it has won races across Europe.
It has recently been restored to 1965 Formula 1 specification, with a new Sid Hoole-built 1.5-litre Coventry Climax V8 and an HD5 gearbox. It has current FIA HTP papers. No price is stated on the page.
