BMW M3 CSL

The E46 M3 CSL was built in a run of 1,383 cars, with around 110 kg removed from the standard M3, a carbon-fibre roof and a carbon airbox feeding the high-output S54 inline-six. This one has the sequential Drivelogic gearbox and is finished in Silver Grey.

It was ordered new through Chandlers Worthing BMW in November 2003, with air conditioning and the BMW Business radio, both no-cost options on the CSL. It also has the 19-inch forged M wheels, a less common specification. The dealer holds the original invoice, the toolkit, compressor and first aid kit. The V5 shows two owners, though the second bought it from his company and has kept it since.

Mileage is 8,889, and the dealer says only 169 of those have been added since 2012. The page describes it as original paint on its original tyres, and it has been stored as part of a collection. The service history is entirely with BMW, mostly Vines Gatwick, and a recent Inspection II at Basingstoke BMW included tappet adjustment and gearbox, differential, coolant and brake fluid changes.
