Listed today at Frank Dale, Sandhurst.
This S3 Continental, chassis BC10XA, carries Mulliner/Park Ward Flying Spur coachwork to the Van Gerbig-style Design No 2011/A, with its smaller hinged rear quarter light. It is the first of only two right-hand-drive cars built to that design; three more were made in left-hand drive.
It was shown on the Mulliner/Park Ward stand at Earls Court in 1962, then sold to a Shropshire buyer who took it to South Africa. It came back to the UK in 1971 and was retrimmed in dark blue leather. It was repainted in Caribbean Blue in the 1980s, a colour correct for the S3. Ownership is traceable from new, and the current owner bought it in 2013.
The engine was overhauled in 2025 and has covered about 500 miles since. The history file holds invoices, records back to the mid-1960s, chassis cards, original handbooks and a wiring diagram, and the car has its full tool kit. The dealer's workshop has since tested and prepared it. The listing is marked sold.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Bentley/Rolls-Royce factory engine data (6.23-litre L-series V8). The factory gave no power figure (only "adequate") and no official weight, top speed or acceleration figures, so these are left null.).
