This is a Mark VI Special: a 1952 Bentley chassis carrying a new, purpose-built body, assembled between 2002 and 2004. The open coachwork has louvred bonnet sides, flowing wings that run into full-length running boards, a mohair hood and a rear-mounted spare wheel. It is finished in dark blue over navy blue leather, with colour-coded steel wheels.
The build brief was thorough. A leading marque specialist moved the engine and radiator back in the chassis, which improves both the proportions and the weight distribution. The king pins, shackle pins and brakes were also overhauled. The 4,566cc "big bore" straight-six has new pistons, liners, bearings, valve guides and rocker bushes, plus a balanced crankshaft. Overdrive has been added to the four-speed manual gearbox, and the exhaust is stainless steel.
The page says the car has covered less than 10,000 miles since completion, and it won its class at a Bentley Drivers Club concours in 2005. It was formerly registered TSU666 and now carries Danish registration K112952, with EEC taxes paid. The dealer says it can be registered in the UK if required. A full service and fresh photography were planned.
