This is a James Young-bodied Bentley Mark VI, one of only three "New Look" two-door saloons built. It was shown at the 1948 Earls Court Motor Show. The streamlined design has clean flanks, faired-in wings and an integrated boot, which was a clear break from the upright pre-war shapes that came before it.
Duncan Hamilton, who won Le Mans in 1953 with Jaguar, once owned the car. The page says it was restored in 1985 and has since stayed in private collections, including the Calumet Collection. It is described as matching-numbers.
Power comes from the 4¼-litre straight-six with twin SU carburettors, driving through a four-speed manual gearbox. Period fittings include Lucas lamps and bumper guards. The interior has Connolly hide, walnut veneer and Smiths instruments. The page gives no mileage or registration.
