This is the only Pininfarina-bodied cabriolet ever built on a Bentley Mark VI chassis. Commissioned in late 1947 by a Zurich customer, Dr Willi Spieler, it was a one-off drophead coupé with aluminium coachwork. Bentley built two other chassis for Pininfarina, but both became closed coupés. The page says Battista "Pinin" Farina styled it personally.
The chassis was specified with 11 modifications, all recorded in the Bentley build sheets. It has the 4,257cc F-head inline-six with twin SU carburettors and a four-speed manual gearbox. The lighter alloy body should have made it quicker than the standard steel saloon. It was shown at the 1949 Geneva Salon and delivered new in Switzerland in April 1949.
It has been fully restored, completed in 1992, and has a strong show record. It won its class at the 1993 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance and Best in Show at the 1997 British Invasion in Vermont. It also took part in the 1998 Louis Vuitton China Run. The dealer describes it as running well. The car carries the registration AC680CR, listed as a French registration. No mileage or owner count is given.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Bentley Mark VI factory chassis specification (4¼-litre straight-six, used before the 4½-litre engine of 1951). Bentley never published power output; performance and weight not published for this Pinin Farina coachbuilt body, so left null.).
£500,000 since it was listed on 5 November 2026. No changes yet.
