The Continental IV was the last of the coachbuilt Mulliner Park Ward convertibles, and this one is a factory left-hand-drive car, one of only 73 built. It was supplied new in Germany through Auto Konig, which makes it a rarer EU-specification example.

The Series IV brought a four-speed automatic in place of the three-speed in the Series III, along with a redesigned hood. The new hood has a lower profile, a glass rear window and a self-closing mechanism. The rear quarter windows are also 8 centimetres longer than on earlier cars.
