This is the one-off Continental GT3 built by Bentley for its 2019 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb attempt, freed from the limits of FIA GT3 homologation. The 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 has new pistons and conrods, larger turbos with external wastegates and 3D-printed Inconel exhaust manifolds by Akrapovič. It was reworked to make more than 750 bhp at sea level and runs on a renewable racing fuel blend.
The chassis and aero are specific to the mountain: softer springs and anti-roll bars, reduced camber, water-cooled brakes, a secondary rear cooling system and the largest rear wing fitted to a Bentley. Downforce is up 30 per cent over the standard GT3 car. It was run by the Fastr team with Roger Clark Motorsport and driven by Rhys Millen.
The dealer says it has been completely stripped and rebuilt to as-new condition. It is described as the last conventionally powered Bentley in the factory race programme. The price is shown as POA, with a figure of £2,000,000 quoted in the heading.
