This 1957 Austin-Healey 100-6 is a BN4 2+2, chassis BN4-O/50912, built in October 1957 and first registered in Morayshire in February 1958. It comes with a British Motor Industry Heritage Trust certificate, and the chassis and body numbers match the heritage documentation. The original sales records survive.
It has been built as a fast-road car rather than left standard. The 2.6-litre six has been bored out with 3-litre pistons and fitted with a Denis Welch camshaft, triple HD8 carburettors, twin high-flow SU air filters and revised manifolds. The car is prepared for road rallies and is said to be eligible for events including the Mille Miglia, Monte Carlo Rally, Modena Cento Ore and HRCR series. FIVA papers are in process.
Outside, it has works-style radiator ducting and wing vents to 1959 factory specification, plus a polished chrome grille. It is finished in red with a black interior, is right-hand drive and has covered 97,109 miles. Documentation for the engine build and carburettor work is included.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (BMC C-Series 2639cc engine specs; power left null because 1957 BN4s had either the 102 bhp or the later 117 bhp six-port head, and no confident factory weight, top speed or 0-60 figures.).
