The 100/6 BN4 was the first of the "Big Healeys" to take the 2.6-litre straight-six, on a longer wheelbase than the 100/4 it replaced. This 1957 left-hand-drive car has matching chassis and engine numbers. Its Heritage certificate records a Longbridge build in August 1957 and export to Düsseldorf, for a US Army officer who later shipped it home to America.
After more than three decades in Indiana, it came to the UK in 2014 showing 34,000 miles on its US title. It then had a body-off restoration, documented in a photo album of over 130 images, and was refinished in its original Healey Blue over Ivory White. The engine was rebored and the head fitted with hardened seats for unleaded fuel. The four-speed gearbox with overdrive was rebuilt in April 2024. Upgrades include electronic ignition, an electric cooling fan and an alternator conversion.
The page puts the car at about 5,000 miles since restoration, roughly 39,000 indicated from new. It is registered as a Historic Vehicle, so it is exempt from road tax and MOT, and its 1957 build date makes it eligible for the Mille Miglia. The price is on application.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (BMC C-Series 2639cc engine specs; power left null because 1957 BN4s had either the 102 bhp or the later 117 bhp six-port head, and no confident factory weight, top speed or 0-60 figures.).
