Listed today at Aston Engineering, Derby.
This is a V8 Vantage Volante, one of just 161 built, and a car that has barely been used. It has covered only 354 miles since it was supplied new in January 1989 by Stratton Motor Company. It has the 410 bhp X-pack carburettor engine, which made the Vantage the fastest and most extreme Aston of its day, and a manual ZF gearbox.
The car is finished in Chichester Blue with Parchment leather piped in Dark Blue, Dark Blue carpets and a Dark Blue Everflex hood. Original options include polished wheel rims, a Hi-Fi upgrade, a burglar alarm and an unopened matching Tanner Krolle leather luggage set. It was first registered LAW 48.
It stayed with the supplying dealer until 1998, when it passed to its second owner. Both kept it in heated storage. The history file holds the original order form, bill of sale, build sheet, warranty card, owner's handbook and correspondence. The listing is marked as sold.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Only the drivetrain layout and the 5,340cc V8 are given. Aston Martin didn't reliably publish power or performance figures in this period. Most quoted outputs are from the press or for the X-pack engine, so they're left null.).
