This 1969 Aston Martin DBS Vantage combines three factory specifications that are seldom found together: left-hand drive, a ZF five-speed manual gearbox and air conditioning. The page says only a very small number of Vantage cars were built in the LHD and ZF configuration. That makes it an unusual example of the Tadek Marek-engined six-cylinder DBS.
According to the factory build sheet, the car was delivered new through the agent Victor Palomo Monegal to its first owner in Alicante, Spain. It stayed in Spain until 2015, when a collector in Hamburg bought it. The Hamburg owner commissioned a comprehensive mechanical and cosmetic restoration, with work by Spraytech and RS Williams.
RS Williams uprated the original six-cylinder engine to 4.2-litre specification. The car is finished in silver with a burgundy interior and shows 34,514 miles. The price is on application.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Aston Martin factory specification for the 4.0-litre Marek straight-six in Vantage tune (claimed 325 bhp, gross). Weight and performance figures left blank because the commonly quoted ones come from period road tests, not the manufacturer.).
