Alfa Romeo Spider 2000 S2

This is a 1981 Alfa Romeo Spider 2000 S2, the Kamm-tailed generation of the long-running 105/115 series roadster. It uses the 2.0-litre twin-cam four-cylinder with a five-speed manual gearbox and rear-wheel drive, and it is a left-hand-drive car.

It is finished in Nero Kyalami with a tan interior. The car was first delivered new in Switzerland and came to the UK in 1981, where it has stayed since. The odometer reads 70,419 km, which is roughly 43,750 miles.

A large history file holds invoices and MOT certificates going back to the late 1980s. Recent work includes a gearbox rebuild, a new clutch, wheel bearings, engine and gearbox mounts, a propshaft doughnut and assorted bushes and ball joints. The car has also just been fully serviced.
