Alfa Romeo 155 TS D2 Superturismo

This is a genuine Alfa Corse-built 155 TS D2 Super Touring car, one of only eight made and, according to the dealer, one of four that survive. Chassis 00090078 was run by Nordauto Engineering for Fabrizio Giovanardi in the 1995 Italian Superturismo Championship. It took seven podiums, including a win at Mugello against the factory Audi and BMW entries.

For 1996 it passed to EC Motorsport and Roberto Colciago, then raced in Belgian Procar under Philippe Eliard, Pascal Witmeur and Giampiero Simoni. In 2016 it joined the Leo Schigiel collection in Florida. The 1,970cc naturally aspirated four-cylinder uses Weber-Marelli management and has a previously published output of 310 bhp at 8,500 rpm. Power goes to the front wheels through a Hewland HP2000 six-speed sequential transaxle.

The car is described as being in fully original condition, with race-team maintenance and an engine rebuild by Champion Motorsport recorded in 2016. The paperwork includes the original competition logbook, homologation papers and parts manuals, and spares are mentioned but not yet confirmed by the owner. It is eligible for the Super Touring Revival series. It is currently reserved.
