About this car
This Studebaker Lark Daytona is a purpose-built historic touring car, an unusual choice among pre-66 saloon racers. It began life as a race conversion by Fortec Motorsport, later passed to Richard Moore Racing, and has been with its current owner since 2019. It is now run and prepared by the Jordan Racing Team.
Power comes from a small-block Chevrolet V8 built by Peter Knight, quoted at about 430 bhp. The car has a strong Goodwood record: aggregate winner of the 2020 SpeedWeek St Mary's Trophy, driven by Nicolas Minassian and the owner, and of the 2021 Members' Meeting Pierpoint Cup, shared by the owner and Andrew Jordan.
It is UK road registered, which opens up road rallies as well as circuit use. It comes with spare wheels, assorted body panels and a Goodwood Technical Declaration. Possible eligibility includes the Goodwood Revival and Members' Meeting (by invitation), Masters Pre-66 Touring Cars and HRDC Top Hat Pre-66 Touring Cars. The page gives no price, mileage or registration.

Performance
The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (1964 Daytona came with several engines (six, 259/289 V8, supercharged R-series) and was built in South Bend (USA) and Hamilton (Canada); there's no single confirmed factory spec, so figures are left null).
