The Spectre marks Rolls-Royce's entry into the electric era — not as a concession to changing regulation, but as a deliberate assertion that near-silent, instantaneous propulsion suits the grand tourer concept better than almost any other application. This 2024 example is finished in the factory Gunmetal and Black Diamond Aero Two-Tone paint scheme, a £24,000 option in itself, and sits within an options package totalling over £110,000 — a specification that transforms what is already an exceptional car into something genuinely distinctive.

The interior is headlined by the Shooting Star Headliner and Starlight Doors, two of the most coveted items in the Rolls-Royce bespoke catalogue, supported by the Bespoke Audio system, Seashell leather throughout with extended piping, Open Pore Blackwood veneer, illuminated fascia, and 23-inch part-polished seven-spoke wheels. Full-vehicle Paint Protection Film has been applied, and the car retains its Rolls-Royce Warranty and Maintenance Package until February 2028 — meaningful assurance given the complexity of the platform.

With just 1,782 miles covered from new and confirmed UK supply, the dual-motor AWD powertrain delivers 577 bhp and 900 Nm of torque, reaching 62 mph in 4.5 seconds and topping out at 155 mph. The performance is real, but secondary to the quality of progress the Spectre provides.
